The Ends...

I was going to write about nothing at all today, but it got twisted and completely nonsensical, so instead I am going to write about something that isn’t literal but the general idea is real. Culling the fields, there are far too many stupid people in this world and they keep reproducing. So here is a Jonathan Swift sort of proposal/solution.

It has become abundantly clear that there are far too many Stupid people wandering around today, this is a problem that has been addressed with underfunded education, Government Aid, and occasionally a shot gun. To me these are not efficient solutions, the education system is a good idea but the money has to be there and well, we are too busy dropping LCD displays in cabinet member’s dashboards and building planes that will never fly to seriously take on the issues of public education funds. I have an idea that will help with both parts of that issue; For the price of the already existing school zone speed limit signs we could effectively weed out the stupid people before they become a reproducing burden on our society as a whole. If you haven’t guessed yet, I am talking about raising the speed limit in school zones to 75MPH (roughly 90Km/h). I know this sounds ridiculous but seriously what is the fastest way to spot stupidity? Make them cross a street. If someone isn’t smart enough to not step in front of a speeding vehicle, do we really want them to reproduce?

This concept has many benefits, and not just me getting to work sooner. One of them being the funding issues schools face, with fewer attendees you need fewer books, teachers, desks, and rooms, all of which cost money. With smarter average attendees you can teach higher level material, decreasing the time required to get to a 12th grade education level, because little Johnny is no longer present and slowing down the rest of the class with his complete inability to comprehend that 2+2 does in fact equal 4, and that yes, "Stupid" actually is spelled with a U. Imagine public schools that operated like private schools, what kind of Einsteins would we be producing on a yearly basis, can you even conceive of particulate physics by 7th grade? Going to college by 16? Being a productive member of society by 20?

I would wager to say that some of the side effects of this would include; no more bums begging for money at every traffic signal, no more need for Social Security and Medicaid (government funding for people that won’t work), a work force that knows you don’t stand at the apex of an eight foot ladder (no more workers comp). What a wonderful way it could be inside of 30 years. Another side effect would be lower property taxes, I mean who can’t get behind that idea? And how about lower population levels which would bring about lower gas prices, less traffic, more jobs, better pay, the list is quite long. Virtual Utopia and all for the low cost of some signs we already have locations for.

The Ends Justifies the Means! While we are at it lets talk about IQ testing for sterilization candidates…..

Closing thought;
Yes this is completely far fetched and outlandish, not to mention insane, but the reality remains we are supporting far too many stupid, incompetent, or just plain lazy people. I really think it’s time to review our placement of sympathy and compassion.

First things first, nope you can't run the world thats my job as soon as the Dick-Tatter *yep a penile Potato* spot is created.

Second things second, I would hate to see the prices of insurance for people living next to Schools.

Oh and Heathen, what are we going to do with all those people who can't pick their nose with out help? I do like the IQ test sterilization thought though...
