Forums - To Be or Not To Be

Today I am not going to rant, but I wanted to take a minute to get some feedback, I know there aren’t a whole lot of readers, but the ones that have taken to the site so far have made some good points worthy of discussion, and to tell the truth it’s hard to keep up with the comments on back postings, so I was thinking about starting a forum since I really enjoy the alternate input from the readers of these rants.

To outline what I have in mind:
A forum that will allow replies but not topic creation except by me, these topics would all be titled after the rant they relate to, there by allowing easier discussion and counter ranting to be read by me and other potential commentators over time.

Each posting would have its relative Rant link as the first post for ease of reference.

I would of course post the backlog rants and comments with any additional statements I want to add for potential discussion on those rant topics.

The only bad thing I see about it is one more login step.

So for comments today I would like a yea or nay vote and any comments you may want to add to the thought. So I can figure out if it’s worth the time and effort to set up.
