And Then There Were 3

Today a conflict began and ended in the time it takes to push a button. The missiles have not even landed yet but we all know the result will be final. Those not killed by the initial 3 blasts will be dead by the end of the year. Even as words are placed upon this page there are people moving as quickly as possible to the outskirts of a blast radius they believe to be the primary concern. What they don’t want to realize is the fallout will be worse than the blast, that death is knocking on the door and it doesn’t matter if they answer it or not.

In the next 10 minutes 12.5 million lives will come to an abrupt halt, with another 24.6 million deaths occurring in the same region over the course of 365 days. This coupled with zero population growth will ensure the elimination of human life in that region for the next 1000 plus years. On the upside we will have a beautiful glass landscape to tour once the negative after effects have subsided. Do not cry for those that are about to die, they are going to a better place, a place where virgins cater to their every whim, where the streams flow honey and milk, where bushes bear the fruit of god.

……………..

So I ask you, given the willingness of the aggressors to die killing anyone that does not believe as they believe; why shouldn’t we kill them all? By all I mean everyone currently breathing from grandparents to new born children. Those that would teach the infants to grow to be the same intolerant hate mongering self serving fools they themselves are today. That’s cruel you say? You say it would place us in the same category as them? You believe that the passive live and let live will win the day?

I say fine so be it… we will have won though, and lived to argue about it for as long as we want, as opposed to climbing on a plane, train, or bus heading for grandma’s house only to die dreaming of rumballs and family events. I say it’s us or them. You want to be with them? Get you a ticket, in this country you can go be with whomever you like, we won’t stop you. Keep in mind what you are going to be a part of, the same ones that have set themselves as a target of world angst, those that have determined that the same freedom that allows you to go join them is their sworn enemy, oh and don’t forget they don’t like you either.

Let’s end this now, and live to argue about it later. It’s cold and inhumane but the ends do justify the means when it comes to survival. Don’t fool yourself that is exactly what this is about. I couldn’t care less about the ideals, the perception, nor the shift of world angst, wipe out the aggressors and apologize about the method after the result is peace and another 50+ years of freedom.

capt. the end never justifies the mean. i think you know that.

conflict is the basis of all human relationships. Without conflict to define who we are not, we are nothing.

(personally, i think this is the true failure of communism. The proletraiat is created by the conflict of ranks.)

but anyway - i could say more, but it will turn into a rant...

shrug it was an urge... an itch i had to scratch. most of what I write is impulse of the moment, this one was no exception, and I dunno, it's harsh but it's honest.
