Auto-Magical!

Found my bag of magic pixie dust and off to work, but before I go thought I would throw out some insight on the thaumaturgic ways of the cult of information technology….yeah… hocus pokus open-sez-a-me.

So I have noticed (well not just noticed… but over time) that most (80%+) people have no clue and no concern for how anything actually works, what the fuck? Folks just want it to work and hope someone is around they can ask stupid ass questions of when it stops… it’s all just like magic if it’s anything more complicated than a screwing in a light bulb. While I originally wanted to focus on computers and other directly IT related items/activities, I just realized the issue really is encompassed by pretty much anything more complex than tying a shoe lace. So what happened people? There was a time that anyone could explain how the TV worked, how Information was broadcast over the air or could read the plain English on the screen and follow the directions.

Oh Noes! What do I do…. What does it mean “To Continue, click OK.”? It’s on my computer and I don’t understand all that technical jargon like “Continue, OK“ and what is a “click”?!?!…..Can you help me???


I had all this stuff I wanted to say… but I have managed to lose my train of thought while writing the above. So, whatever, yes I am bitter… Google is your friend.
